Procida - Phlegraean Islands - Naples - Italy
Procida is one of the Phlegraean Islands off the coast of Naples in southern Italy.
The island is between Cape Miseno and the island of Ischia. With its tiny satellite island of Vivara, it is a comune of the Metropolitan City of Naples, in the region of Campania.
Welcome to the island of Procida! Unlike some of the more touristic islands, Procida retains its authenticity, with quiet streets, pastel-hued houses, and a thriving fishing community.
It was named Italy's Capital of Culture for 2022, further spotlighting its cultural value, history, and unique identity.
Procida has frequent ferry services from Naples and Ischia, and has several good hotels and B&Bs at more affordable prices than other Italian beauty-spots.
The nearest Airport to fly by helicopter is from Naples, or Anacapri helipad - from Capri Island.
The helicopter charter is the fastest way to reach Procida Island.
